Creamy Toum Garlic and Lemon Sauce
Toum sauce is a treasure of Levantine cuisine, a garlicky and lemony emulsion that perfectly complements grilled meats, falafel, or roasted vegetables. You will love its silky texture and aromatic power. Originating from Lebanon, this white sauce has become essential throughout the Middle East. Its preparation requires a little patience to pour the oil slowly, but the result is spectacular. Once you taste homemade Toum, you won't be able to do without it. It keeps for a week in the fridge and graces all your Oriental tables.
