
Asian Satay Sauce with Peanut Butter

Ingredients
- creamy peanut butter150 g
- coconut milk200 ml
- soy sauce2 tablespoons
- lime juice2 tablespoons
- palm sugar or brown sugar1 tablespoon
- garlic2 cloves
- fresh ginger1 piece (2 cm)
- red chili1/2 teaspoon
- fresh cilantro2 tablespoons
- sesame oil1 tablespoon

In a saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the finely grated garlic and ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, sugar, and chili. Whisk well until smooth.

Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. The sauce should thicken slightly.
