Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Sandwich with Toum
Shawarma is one of the most iconic sandwiches in Lebanese street food. Marinated with spices and yogurt, the chicken becomes tender and flavorful, then grilled in a pan for a «shawarma» effect without a rotisserie. The secret? Toum, that creamy and pungent Lebanese garlic sauce that adds a unique touch. Did you know that Lebanese hummus is distinguished by its smoother texture and lemony balance? Similarly, Lebanese shawarma is often enjoyed with crunchy vegetables and soft pita bread. Easy to prepare, this sandwich will delight your loved ones for a quick meal or a casual dinner.
