Lebanese Fattouche Salad with Sumac and Pomegranate
Fattouche is much more than a simple salad: it's a staple of Lebanese mezze, with its crunchy pita bread and tangy sumac note. Personally, I love adding pomegranate seeds for a fruity and colorful touch. Sumac, that characteristic red spice, brings a tangy flavor that elevates the whole dish. Wondering what the typical dishes of Lebanese cuisine are? Fattouche is one of them, along with hummus, tabbouleh, and fattouche. And for those looking for a halal Lebanese restaurant near them, note that most Lebanese establishments offer halal options, as their cuisine contains neither pork nor alcohol. Enjoy!
