This Algerian cold salad is a true journey for the taste buds, blending the tenderness of chickpeas with the crunch of fresh vegetables. Spices like cumin and mint give it that authentic aroma reminiscent of Algiers' souks. Wondering which spices are typical of Algerian cuisine? Cumin, paprika, ras el hanout, and coriander are essential. Here, cumin pairs beautifully with lemon and olive oil for a light, flavorful salad.
