Ingredients

  • pork500 g
  • soy sauce3 tbsp
  • sesame oil1 tbsp
  • garlic3 cloves
  • fresh ginger1 piece (2 cm)
  • red bell pepper1
  • green bell pepper1
  • carrot2
  • onion1
  • chicken broth250 ml
  • cornstarch1 tbsp
  • brown sugar1 tsp
  • rice vinegar1 tbsp
  • sesame seeds1 tbsp
  • green onion2

Instructions

    In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and rice vinegar. Add the diced pork and let marinate for 10 minutes.

    Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir-fry the marinated pork (without the marinade) until golden. Remove and set aside.

    In the same wok, stir-fry the sliced onion, bell peppers, and julienned carrot for 3-4 minutes.

    Add the broth, reserved marinade, and cornstarch dissolved in a little cold water. Bring to a boil.

    Return the pork to the wok, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
