
Algerian Tlitli Noodles with Chicken and Chickpeas

- Tlitli (small Algerian noodles)250 g
- Chicken breasts300 g
- Cooked chickpeas200 g
- Onion1
- Garlic2 cloves
- Fresh tomatoes2
- Tomato paste1 tbsp
- Olive oil3 tbsp
- Ground cumin1 tsp
- Paprika1 tsp
- Ground coriander1/2 tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Water1.5 L
- Fresh corianderA few sprigs

In a large pot, heat the olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add the diced chicken, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, ground coriander, salt, and pepper. Brown the chicken.

Stir in the grated fresh tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix and cook for 5 minutes.

Pour in the water, add the cooked chickpeas, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the tlitli and cook for about 10 minutes, until tender. Adjust seasoning.
