Turkish Menemen — Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes and Peppers
Menemen is much more than a simple egg dish: it's the smile of the morning in Turkey. Picture juicy tomatoes and sweet peppers simmering in butter, then eggs wrapping everything in their golden cream. Each bite transports you to the streets of Istanbul, where cafes serve this steaming dish with crusty bread. At home, it's our weekend ritual, a simple and generous sharing moment. The key? Fresh ingredients and gentle cooking to keep the eggs soft. You'll love this authentic version, spiced with a touch of chili and parsley.
