Haydari — Turkish Feta and Fresh Herb Dip
Haydari is a staple of Turkish mezze, a creamy and fresh dip that awakens the palate from the very first bite. You'll love its smooth texture made from feta and yogurt, enhanced with garlic, lemon, and a mountain of fresh herbs. This dip has its roots in Ottoman cuisine, where it was served at the sultans' table. Topped with sumac and Aleppo pepper, it adds a colorful and mildly spicy touch that balances the richness of the cheese. Perfect for a sunny aperitif, it comes together in no time and is devoured with warm pita bread. A taste journey to Anatolia within a bowl!
