Ingredients

  • flour150 g
  • sugar80 g
  • eggs2
  • milk150 ml
  • honey1 tablespoon
  • baking powder1/2 teaspoon
  • matcha powder1 tablespoon
  • sweet red bean paste (anko)200 g
  • neutral oil1 tablespoon

    In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and honey until frothy. Add the milk and mix well.

    Sift the flour, baking powder, and matcha together. Gradually incorporate them into the wet mixture, stirring to avoid lumps. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.

    Heat a non-stick pan over low heat and lightly grease it. Pour a small ladle of batter to form circles about 8 cm in diameter.
