Wash the peppers, cut them into strips after removing the seeds. Peel and slice the onion, crush the garlic.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the peppers and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat.

Grate the tomatoes and add them to the skillet with the harissa, salt, pepper, and cumin. Simmer for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
