
Saffron and Yogurt Marinated Chicken Skewers (Joojeh Kabab)

Ingredients
- Chicken breasts800 g
- Greek yogurt200 g
- Fresh lemon juice4 tbsp
- Olive oil3 tbsp
- Saffron powder1/2 tsp
- Garlic3 cloves
- Onion1 medium
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper1/2 tsp
- Sweet paprika1/2 tsp

In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, saffron, minced garlic, grated onion, salt, pepper, and sweet paprika.

Cut the chicken breasts into 3 cm cubes and add them to the marinade. Mix well, cover, and let marinate for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator (ideally overnight).

Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Thread the chicken cubes onto wooden skewers that have been soaked in water.

Grill the skewers for 10 to 12 minutes, turning regularly, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
