Tajine Zitoun
Ah, tajine zitoun! Just thinking about it brings me back to my grandmother in Algiers, her hands fragrant with spices, preparing this family dish. Every bite is a journey: tender chicken infused with cumin and saffron, green olives adding their zesty touch, and preserved lemon waking up the taste buds. This recipe is passed down through generations, a treasure of Algerian cuisine. You'll see it's easy to make: by gently sautéing the ingredients, you'll get a creamy, aromatic sauce that fills the whole house. This dish reminds me of family Sundays, laughter around the table, and the joy of sharing a good meal. Give it a try, and you'll understand why it's so dear to my heart.
