Tunisian Fava Bean and Dill Tajine
This Tunisian fava bean and dill tajine is a comforting stew typical of sunny Tunisian springs. Unlike Moroccan tajine, often spicier and sweeter, the Tunisian version emphasizes fresh herbs like dill and mild spices to highlight seasonal vegetables. The tender, creamy fava beans absorb the richness of the fragrant tomato sauce. Making this dish at home is like traveling to the heart of Tunisian souks without leaving your kitchen. Serve it with good homemade bread to soak up every drop, and remember that olive oil is the secret ingredient that makes all the difference. You'll see, it's a true hug for the taste buds.
