Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Sandwich
Shawarma is one of the jewels of Lebanese street food, and this spiced marinated chicken sandwich transports you straight to the bustling streets of Beirut. The yogurt and oriental spice marinade makes the meat incredibly tender and aromatic. You'll love the balance between the warm chicken, crunchy vegetables, and creamy tahini sauce. Speaking of meze, know that Lebanese hummus is often distinguished by a smoother texture and a brighter lemony kick than the Israeli version. For a complete meal, pair this sandwich with a refreshing fattoush salad. It's simple, quick, and incredibly tasty!
