- Finely chopped onion1

- Harissa2 tbsp
- Olive oil3 tbsp
- Plain yogurt150 g
- Grated cucumber1/2
- Pita bread or baguette4
- Lettuce leavesa few
- Tomatoes, sliced2
- Salt and pepperto taste

In a large bowl, mix the ground lamb with onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, and one tablespoon of harissa. Season with salt and pepper, then knead well with your hands.

Form meatballs the size of a walnut (about 20 meatballs). Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides for 8-10 minutes, until cooked through and slightly caramelized.

Prepare the yogurt sauce: in a bowl, mix yogurt with grated cucumber, a pinch of salt, and the remaining harissa (adjust to taste). Refrigerate until ready to use.

Lightly toast the pita breads or cut the baguette into four pieces. Open them in half without separating completely.
