
Mechouia Salad

- hot chili peppers2

- olive oil4 tablespoons
- tuna flakes150 g
- hard-boiled eggs2
- capers1 tablespoon
- black olives8

- cumin1 teaspoon

Grill the peppers, tomatoes and chili peppers under the oven broiler or over a flame until the skin blackens. Let them cool, then peel and remove seeds.

Mash the garlic with a pinch of salt, then add the peeled and chopped vegetables. Mix well with olive oil, cumin and a splash of lemon (optional).

Spread the mechouia on a serving plate, crumble the tuna on top, add quartered hard-boiled eggs, capers and black olives.

Drizzle with a little more olive oil before serving. Serve with fresh bread for a light and flavorful meal.
