    Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. In another, mix the breadcrumbs with the Parmesan.

    Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise. Dip each piece in the beaten egg, then in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture, pressing well.

    Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Brown the chicken cutlets for 3 minutes on each side until golden. Set aside.

    In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute, then add the tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.

    In an ovenproof dish, pour a little sauce, place the cutlets, cover with remaining sauce, then top with sliced mozzarella.

    Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. Sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
