Our halal seafood paella is a traditional Spanish dish reimagined without alcohol or pork. Saffron rice is topped with mussels, shrimp, and squid for a burst of flavor. Perfect for a quick family meal.

Ingredients

  • Paella rice300 g
  • Mussels200 g
  • Shrimp200 g
  • Squid200 g
  • Red bell pepper1
  • Onion1
  • Tomatoes2
  • Olive oil4 tbsp
  • Halal chicken broth600 ml
  • Saffron1 pinch
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Salt1 tsp

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a large pan. Sauté chopped onion and garlic.

    Add bell pepper and tomatoes, cook 5 minutes.

    Stir in rice and saffron, then pour in broth. Bring to a boil.

    Arrange seafood on top, cover and simmer 15-20 minutes.

    Remove from heat and let rest covered 5 minutes.

    Serve hot.
