Soak the white beans overnight in cold water, then drain and rinse them.

In a large pot, heat the olive oil and butter. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

Add the grated tomatoes and tomato paste, mix well and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Pour the drained beans into the pot, add salt, pepper and sweet paprika. Cover with hot water and bring to a boil.
