Izmir Köfte in the oven

Ah, Izmir köfte! This Turkish dish, fragrant with spices and oven warmth, takes me back to wandering the streets of Izmir, where the aroma of grilled meat fills the air. Imagine lamb meatballs perfumed with cumin and paprika, slowly baked with juicy tomatoes and tender bell peppers. It's a generous, comforting dish that gathers the whole family around the table. You'll love the simplicity of the ingredients and the richness of traditional Turkish flavors. Let yourself be carried away on this flavorful journey, paired with rice pilaf or warm bread. Happy cooking!
