
Turkish Köfte with Minced Meat

- Minced beef500 g
- Onion1 medium
- Fresh parsley1 bunch
- Garlic2 cloves
- Breadcrumbs or bread crumbs3 tbsp
- Egg1
- Ground cumin1 tsp
- Paprika1 tsp
- Salt and pepperTo taste
- Olive oil2 tbsp

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Chop the parsley. Mix in a large bowl with the minced meat.

Add the breadcrumbs, egg, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Knead well by hand for 2-3 minutes.

Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Shape into oval or cigar-shaped meatballs.

Heat the olive oil in a pan. Cook the köfte over medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side until nicely browned.
