Spinach and Feta Pastries (Spinach Börek)
When I think of the flavors of the Orient, one image comes to mind: those golden, crispy pastries, light yet generously filled. My spinach and feta pastries recipe is a true ode to Middle Eastern cuisine, where salty cheese meets the sweetness of spinach, all wrapped in delicately buttered filo pastry. You'll love making these little turnovers, reminiscent of Turkish böreks or Moroccan pastillas, with their crispy texture and melt-in-your-mouth filling. Perfect for an appetizer, a starter, or even a light meal, they are best enjoyed warm with a glass of mint tea. Let yourself be carried away by these exotic aromas and enjoy!
