
Cheese and Herb Briouates

- Brick pastry sheets8
- Fresh cheese (ricotta or cream cheese)200 g
- Fresh parsley, chopped3 tablespoons
- Fresh cilantro, chopped2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin1 teaspoon
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper1/4 teaspoon
- Egg1
- Frying oil500 ml

Mix fresh cheese, parsley, cilantro, cumin, salt, pepper, and egg in a bowl. Set aside.

Cut each brick sheet in half. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each half and fold into a triangle.

Heat oil in a pan or deep fryer. Fry briouates in batches, 2-3 minutes per side, until golden.
