Instructions

    Cut beef into 1.5-inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper.

    In a Dutch oven, melt clarified butter and sear the meat on all sides. Set aside.

    Slice onions, cut carrots into rounds, and sauté in the same pot for 5 minutes. Sprinkle flour and stir.
